Springsteen By Erich Church

The music I’ve heard of the 13 years of my life is country, Country music tells a story of the person life or others. Springsteen by Erich Church tells of the good times of him and his girlfriend during the age of 17 and the good times of them during the spring. A song that he and she used to sing to he remembers and “to this day when I hear that song” he remembers her and their time together. The Lyrics tells of one he thinks about her he thinks about the good times that they had together.

“When I think about you…

I think about 17

I think about my old Jeep

I think about the stars in the sky

Funny how a melody sounds like a memory

Like a soundtrack to a July Saturday night”

Pilot Shortage

Dennis Muilenburg says by the next 20 years Boeing will need 800,000 new pilots and 750,000 new aviation technicians to support the new 44,000 airplanes for flights across the world.” The 737 Max has been grounded across the globe since mid-March after a deadly crash involving the jet in Ethiopia. Less than five months earlier, a Boeing Max crashed in Indonesia. The disasters killed a total of 346 people. Investigators said the jet’s MCAS flight control system, which is designed to push the aircraft’s nose down to prevent stalling, was involved in the crashes. Boeing’s chief executive said he was not focused on orders for the 737 Max during his time in the French capital, insisting there would be “plenty of opportunities” in the coming months.” Because of the two crashes Boeing has taken action to ground the planes across the world and are “scrambling to restore confidence” in the planes ability and faults. dennis Muilenburg says that he expects to green light to fly again this year.

The B-17 Bomber

The B-17 Bomber
Boeing, America, Britain-
America needed a Bomber that was able to travel a longer distance without running out of full and they needed a bomber that had more armor and could take more blows because bombers were main targets for enemy pilot’s, also AA guns. “United States Army Air Corps’ 1934, demand for a multi-engine bomber.” Boeing were able to make this change by creating many prototypes and by upping the armor and increasing the vertical stabilizer to prolong a flight. To increase distance Boeing added larger wings and fuel tanks along with 4 engines. “Developed by the Boeing Company in the 1930’s, the B-17 was a four engine heavy bomber aircraft used by the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. It was a very effective weapons system, dropping more bombs during the war than any other American aircraft.” From July 28th 1935 to April 20th 1944. The year span is 9 years for the B-17 Bomber. “An aircraft that played a pivotal role in the outcome of the war, the B-17 Flying Fortress.” Without the B-17 America could have very well lost the war, The B-17 destroyed many German factories that produced weapons and very much damaged the German economy making it hard to fight back. Bombing Radis and terror bombings took place ate Germany, and the B-17 were disunited between America and the RAF (Royal Air Force, Europe).

Learning Takes Flight Avatar

The reason I have chosen an airplane for my worldwide blog is because of my love of the planes that I have got the chance to see and touch. The plane in the avatar is called a P-51 North American Mustang, they were a World War Two fighter plane that they were paired with the B-17 Flying Fortress, heavy bombing planes that destroyed many German factories. The P-51 North American Mustang was invented in 1940 by North American Aviation and was lent to the RAF.
